Privacy Policy

We collect only what is needed to sign you in, mark attendance and answer your enquiries:

• Sign-in details. If you sign in with a mobile OTP, your mobile number. If you sign in with email and password, your email address and a password, which we store only as a one-way hash (never in readable form). Your name, if you add it to your profile.
• Daily attendance. When staff mark their attendance in the app or on the website, we record the date and time. While the academy’s location check is switched on, we also record your device’s location at that moment, so we can confirm you are at the academy. The app asks for location permission only for this, and only while the check is on. We do not track your location in the background.
• Enquiries. If you fill in the contact form, the name, phone number, email, course of interest and message you submit.
• Basic session data. A sign-in cookie or token that keeps you signed in until you log out or it expires.

We do not collect any other personal data. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers in the app.

• To verify who you are and keep you signed in.
• To record and review attendance.
• To reply to your enquiries about our offline courses.
• To keep the website and app secure, for example by limiting repeated failed sign-in attempts.

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.

OTP codes are generated and sent by our SMS provider, MSG91, which receives your mobile number for that purpose. We never see or store the code itself. Our website and database are hosted on servers we use to run the service. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Data is stored on our servers and sent over HTTPS. Access to attendance and enquiry records is limited to authorised Trucode Academy staff.

We keep sign-in details, attendance and enquiry records for as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to.

• You can see and edit your name on your profile.
• You can deny or withdraw the location permission in your phone settings.
• You can ask us to correct or delete your data, including your account, by emailing info@trucodeacademy.in.

Our sign-in and attendance features are for staff and enrolled students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without a parent or guardian.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
